From traditional to non-traditional, we’ve gathered a few ideas for salads, sides, entrees and desserts for your Easter table!

Easter is just a few days away, and, if you’re anything like us, you’re likely thinking about what dishes you’ll be serving up on your holiday menu. So, today, we’re offering a few ideas, ranging from the traditional to the decidedly non-traditional. If you’re still deciding what you’ll be serving on Sunday, we’ve got a few Easter menus ideas for your consideration!

Salad
As a spring holiday, Easter is the perfect time for salads, from the chopped and garden salad variety to those that feature jello, Cool Whip and seem more like a dessert. If you’re looking for a vegetable salad that features bright colors and is bursting with flavor, try this strawberry and blueberry salad with candied pecans. A spinach salad with mandarin oranges, tart dried cherries and goat cheese is another option. Prefer a fruit salad? We’re partial to this recipe, which features stone fruits and a simple syrup infused with basil and citrus.
Broccoli salad is a delicious option. If you’re feeling adventurous, maybe it’s time to give an American classic, the Watergate salad, which features pistachio pudding mix, a try!

Sides
Easter dinner menus traditionally feature a variety of sides such as spring vegetables, potato dishes and a perennial staple on Southern menus, deviled eggs. If you want to lean into the season, try an asparagus recipe like Ashlyn at Belle of the Kitchen’s garlic parmesan roasted asparagus. Roasted carrots might also be a brightly colored addition to your table, and Easter is a great time for scalloped potatoes, roasted potatoes with herbs or hashbrown casserole/funeral potatoes, depending on where you’re from. If you’re ready to give deviled eggs a try, there are thousands of ways to make them. Check out the Food Network’s comprehensive list that features a variety of recipes ranging from traditional mustard/mayo-based options to deep fried (yes, you read that right!).

Entrees
In the South, glazed ham is usually the centerpiece on Easter, while others serve roasted lamb or chicken. All are great options for your Easter dinner main dish. Feeling non-traditional? Try lasagna (we recommend Deb Perelman’s zucchini pesto lasagna for a vegetarian option), short ribs or Cajun chicken pasta.

Dessert
Easter desserts are among our favorites! Carrot cake is always an option, and fruit pies, like apple, cherry pie bars and peach cobbler are also favorites. If you want to go for traditional tastes in a non-traditional presentation, try the Pioneer Woman’s carrot cake trifle. Strawberry cake or shortcake might also be the perfect finish to your holiday meal!
