The Bookery is devoted to creating community around the Bible, books and baking, but what does that really mean? Here are a few things you can expect from The Bookery over the next few months.

Scripture Reading Plans
On November 28, we'll kick off Dark to Light, The Bookery's 2021 Advent reading plan, which explores how Christ brought light into our world and our hearts. We'll examine the words the prophets, spend time with Elizabeth and Zechariah and celebrate the shepherds' joy. And like Mary, we will treasure all these things in our hearts on Saturdays, which are set aside for journaling and meditating on Scripture. Dark to Light is customizable. If you'd prefer to simply use the reading plan overview and journal on your own, that's perfectly fine! If you'd prefer a daily reminder and some devotional thoughts, check back here each day throughout the Advent season.
All the Broken Things, The Bookery's 2022 Lent reading plan, will begin on Ash Wednesday, March 2, 2022. The plan will examine the beginning of Jesus’ public ministry and examine how He entered into our brokenness, studying His interactions with outcasts and sinners, religious hypocrites, the sick, those in mourning and more. In these interactions, we will come face to face with all the broken things that litter our lives and see how our Savior enters into our brokenness in order to redeem it.
In June 2022, we'll read the book of Galatians together as a community.
