So, with that in mind, we’re sharing a few of our own favorite fall-ish dessert recipes, along with several from other bakers we admire. Hopefully, you’ll find something to sweeten your cozy fall nights.
Easy Pumpkin Dessert
It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s delicious. What’s NOT to like about this pumpkin dessert recipe? Basically a dump cake, this dessert tastes complex, but by using a boxed cake mix and ingredients you probably already have on hand, you can pull it together in just a few minutes. And when your guests ask for the recipe, point them in our direction!

Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars
Apples, caramel and cream cheese and a crumbly topping?! This might just be the perfect bar cookie recipe of the season. It’s going to take a little bit of time to pull this one together, so it may not be your go-to recipe if you’re in a hurry—but if you have time, you’ll definitely enjoy it. A cream cheese filling is poured on to a brown sugar and butter-based crust that’s already been baked and cooled, then topped with apples and a crumble topping. After baking for again, you top the cooled bars with caramel before serving.
Snickerdoodles
Cinnamon is one of the key flavors and fragrances of fall, so it’s the perfect time to make this old-fashioned cinnamon cookie. Sources vary on where the name comes from — it could be an Americanization of German or Pennsylvania Dutch—but the cookie has been an American staple since the 1920s. Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins
Our founder, Mandy Crow, has been making these muffins for years and they’re always a crowd-pleaser. Whether you’re looking to please a crowd or just spice up a fall weekend breakfast or brunch, these muffins may be the perfect choice! Please note: this recipes takes some time to make, and it will help you if you go ahead and make your filling and put it in the freezer several hours or even the night before you want to bake. The longer it’s chilled, the easier it is to slice. If you get flustered easily by a lot of steps in baking, this is a good way to take a little of the stress off yourself.
Apple Cider Donut Cake
What’s more fall than an apple cider donut? This recipe from the Pioneer Woman attempts to take the fall favorite and turn it into a cake. Baked in a bundt or tube pan, it’s brushed with melted butter and sprinkled with a cinnamon/sugar topping while it’s still warm. A slice of this cake, a hot cup of coffee and a fire in the fireplace? We’ll be right over.

Apple (or Pear) Crisp
A list of fall recipes wouldn’t be complete without a crisp recipe! Warm fruit, a blend of cinnamon and spices, a warm, crunchy topping and melting vanilla ice cream is the perfect end to the perfect fall day. The great thing about crisps is that you can basically use whatever fruit is in season or you have on hand—and in the fall, that’s apples and pears. So, maybe try both recipes!
