What is wrong with me?

I’m not one of those people who complain about Daylight Saving Time and how stupid it is. I figure there’s nothing I can do about it, so I might as well embrace it and enjoy it that light lasts a little longer these days.
But on my first day back to work after the switchover, I pretty much HATE Daylight Saving Time. HATE, I tell you. Usually, I don’t notice a marked difference in how I feel after the time change. Not so this year. I didn’t want to get out of bed, actually laid back down for a minute after breakfast and Bible study, and nearly fell asleep on my drive into downtown, which is only 15 minutes. Lucky for me, traffic wasn’t too bad and I got to work with no incidents, like driving in two lanes, swerving into other cars, or you know actually falling asleep, banging my head on the steering wheel and causing a 10-car pile-up.
I am really and truly out of today. I took cold meds last night to help me sleep since I was feeling kind of bleh again and apparerently they worked well. And because of said cold, I replaced the normal coffee with tea this morning. Which is lower in caffeine and an obvious misstep. Oh, well, I’ll make it through the day somehow.
But if you start getting all kinds of incoherent emails , you might need to call and make sure I’m OK. I’m just saying. 🙂
