Wedding Week: Day 5

Five days to go until my brother’s wedding. FIVE DAYS!

Actually, my stress level is low. I’ve convinced them to let me sing “Shine On Us” as the call to worship of sorts at the beginning of the ceremony rather than “Agnes Dei.” I think this is a good move. And I’ll be singing “When God Made You” during a slide show, so in a stroke of luck, most people won’t be looking at me! But I won’t get to see the slide show, I guess 😦

I still haven’t gotten the information to do the programs for the wedding. At this point, I’m thinking about slapping in some filler text and leaving it. But that would be mean. And all the people in the wedding party except for my brother, my parents, grandparents, the bride and her parents, and me would be listed as “Firstname Lastname.” That probably wouldn’t be the best move to make my first day as a sister-in-law.

I got worried last night that one of the groomsmen didn’t have a place to stay. I surely hope my brother has thought of that. . . .I don’t know if I should ask or what. And last night, I decided not to worry about it. This is not my wedding. This is not my wedding. This is not my wedding!
