Time for a change

I’m blaming Keira Knightley.
It’s really all her fault.
I mean, I’m a little nonplussed by some of her performances and most of her hairstyles, but then she just had to go and do this:
And the part of me that had gotten bored with my hair woke up and said, “Oh, a bob!”
Now, mind you, a bob sounds like the most boring hairstyle ever. But it looks good on me. But after growing out my hair because I was bored with the angled bob that I (and suddenly everyone I knew) had, I really don’t want to just go chop off all my hair. I like a little length.
But I also want to do something different. My hair feels blah and fall seems like a nice time for a new start, folicly speaking.
So I put the question out there to you. What should happen? How should I get my hair cut? (I have an appointment on October 23.)
Should I stay with something like this:
Ignore Ben, the cake, the weird expression on my face and my awesome sparkle scarf. They have nothing to do with the subject at hand.
Should I steal a page from Keira’s playbook? Should I go with a longer, choppier bob?
Weigh in! I need help!
And a new hairstyle, ’cause I’m pretty bored with this one. . . and it’s a bad sign when all you do is pull it into a ponytail.
