• Nashville tourists are funny.
• Nashville girls love the sundress/cowboy boots trend.
• Some people should not EVER go shirtless. (That’s for you weird shirtless boys playing instruments on Broadway and 2nd Ave. on Friday night!)
• All people should bathe somewhat regularly. (That’s ALSO for you weird shirtless boys playing instruments on Broadway and 2nd Ave. on Friday night!)
• Men should not wear jeans so tight they cannot sit on a tall stool and play the guitar, but instead have to lean against the chair. Not. OK.
• The Professional Children is an awesome name for a backing band. And a pretty amazing backing band.
• There are some young musicians who have it together, are extremely talented, and haven’t let it go to their heads. (That’s for you, Jeffrey James!)
• McAlister’s on a Sunday after church is a crazy, crazy crowded place.
• Sometimes, you just have to stop trying to cram 15 million things into a day and stop and “sit a spell.”
• Church cookbook recipes are weird. First it was all these strange Jell-O salads topped with grated/shredded cheese. Now it’s casseroles topped with French fried onions. For reals.
• My dog is not a distance walker. Two laps around the complex and she is done.
• Nashville truly is one of my favorite places in the world.
