Today, read over Matthew 2:1-12. As you read, ponder the reactions of King Herod, the Jewish leaders and the wise men to the good news of the Messiah’s birth. If you were being honest with yourself, which reaction best fits you in this season? Even if this is a difficult season and praise is truly a sacrifice, how will you choose to celebrate and praise God today for the salvation he has given you in Jesus?
