The Simple Supper Menu

Chicken Gnocchi Soup
Yes, we’ve talked about this soup before here at The Bookery. (Here’s the evidence.) But hear us out: this soup is delicious! It’s pretty easy, especially if you use rotisserie chicken and pre-cut veggies; it’s filling; and it tastes divine! Chicken gnocchi soup is clearly one of our favorite soup recipes, but it’s also perfect for the fall season. Creamy with plenty of vegetables and pillowy gnocchi—chicken gnocchi soup is a recipe you don’t want to miss!
Shaved Brussel Sprout Salad
We get it: brussel sprouts often get a bad rap. But we’re kind of partial to them in a salad. They add a nice crunch and a slightly different flavor than our usual spinach or romaine salads. Add in dried cranberries, white cheddar, almonds and a tangy vinaigrette, and you’ve got a winning fall salad recipe. We’re partial to this one from The Pioneer Woman.
Easy Garlic Cheese Bread
What’s not to love about garlic cheese bread? Well, you might not like gathering all the ingredients to make it, but this recipe from Cooking Classy uses store-bought Italian or French bread and ingredients you’re likely to have on hand and comes together in less than 30 minutes. Prep your bread and stick it in the oven while your soup simmers, and dinner is done!
