Yep, you’ve guessed it. All things I’ve been told or overheard in the past few days and weeks. Interested? Read on.
Suzanne: I’ve realized something: scruff on a man is a good thing. Mandy: I would second that motion.
A sign made by a coworker calling me Mandy “The Missouri Mauler” Crow. (Seriously, how sweet is that?)
“What a minute? Are we talking about transvestite frogs?”
“I hope that was a green light!” (exclaimed excitedly—and belatedly—by Mindy after we careened through a traffic light in Cool Springs.)
Me: JoJo. It’s a good name for a monkey. (when talking about what someone named their child)
Buddy: Well, now you’ll be getting a phone call. (After the “serial dater” at church said I looked nice.)
Kirk: And Tim and Amy are working on their third child right there. (Pointing out that Amy is indeed pregnant.) Tim: And they’re just working on it. (in reference to Kirk and Julianne who are not expecting a baby) Me (snorting laughter)
Mindy, while watching Where the Heart Is: For the record, when you sleep with someone, you should be able to say I love you. Me: For the record, I know that.
Lunesta commercial: Consult a doctor if you walk, drive, or engage in other activities while sleeping after using Lunesta.
