Our Constant Star: Day 23

This week, our devotions will be a little different. As you celebrate Christmas, we ask that you simply take a few moments out of each day to read God’s Word and dwell upon all that Jesus has done to make our relationship right with God. As the title of this week (and the lyric from “O Savior of Our Fallen Race” invites), take the time to reflect your praise and worship back to God. Let songs of praise his name adorn!

Read Luke 2:1-7. Meditate on what you’ve read with these journal prompts: 

• What do these verses teach me about Jesus? 

• What does this passage teach me about myself? 

• How do these verse help me to understand that Jesus is worthy of my praise? Explain.

Journal

Take a moment to look over the list of Jesus’ characteristics you’ve compiled over the course of this reading plan. Then, reflecting on that list as well as what you’ve read today, journal your prayer of praise and worship back to him.
