Nike, I think I love you!

So I got my new iPod and Nike+ system today, and I have one thing to say: I should have gotten Nike+ years ago!

I ran a 5K today. Which is more than I’ve been running. And I only walked like 20 steps. Lance Armstrong’s voice in my ear urging me on really gave me the extra push I’ve been needing to get ready for my 8K on June 14. I actually enjoyed today’s run and can’t wait to get out there and improve my time and distance stats.

Yep, it happened. I became a runner. Who knew?
