Mile marker 73

Yesterday I spent almost 2 hours on the side of Interstate 24 at mile marker 73 in Kentucky. I was supposed to meet my mom halfway to regain custody of Muffin. Then came a tire that began losing its tread and separating. . . . I’m pretty sure if I had continued, I would have had a blowout. All is well, though. I’m looking into a new tire (or tires) sometime today or tomorrow.
I’m just wondering: my air conditioner went out; I screwed up the washing machine and had to have that fixed; the water heater died; my tire separated. . . .what else can go wrong?
