Let your words be few

Today, I have nothing really to say.
Oh, plenty is going around in my brain, but none of it has perculated into a post that’s ready for public consumption yet.
But don’t fear: I’m still writing. I’m journaling my lenten lessons. There are various posts in my drafts folder that I’ve started and haven’t finished. One was written in a fit of inspiration and sits there unedited until I’m far enough away from the emotion to go back and read it with an unbiased eye.
Sometimes, striving to become a better writer is hard. And like every relationship, it takes work.
So today, my words are few. But my thoughts are a whirling confusion of emotions.
But write now, it’s time to get to work.
(But stop by tomorrow for “Weekend in Rewind.”)
