First Sunday of Lent

In some traditions, Sundays during Lent are an opportunity to break the fast of Lent. Today, spend time in reflection and prayer, thanking God for Jesus’ sacrifice in your place. Dwell on the truth that in Christ, God has removed all your sin by memorizing Psalm 103:11. We’ll add verse 12 later in the reading plan.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his faithful love toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
