It happened one night

So October is half over! Really? That’s just crazy!
I thought I’d give you all a little gift. . . .of pictures. Of me. (Stop groaning!) Anyway, I now present some of the things that have happened so far this month. Enjoy. Or not. Makes no difference to me! 😉

On October 1 at 2:16 a.m., I turned 30. 30! This is me on my 30th birthday. I was about 12 hours into being 30 by this point. Your response should not be to imply that I look “good for my age.” I can and will hunt you down and hurt you.
Then, there was the cake before choir on the night of my birthday. Surprise! (And notice how my loving friends chose to point out my age on the cake. After you get to a certain age, dear ones, you stop doing that! But, guys, thank you for the cake and ice cream. I’d been having a pretty feel-sorry-for-myself day up until that moment.

Then there was the night of insanity at Mindy’s that involved wild pumpkin carving AND rummi kub. I know, we are some wild and crazy girls!

This, my friends, is the Amy Winehouse jack-o-lantern. (No, her lips weren’t exactly supposed to do that. . . but really, she’s saying no, no, no to rehab.)
Then there was the day we decided all the members of our class could ride on one golf cart at church. (The golf carts are a by-product of our construction. Don’t be a hater!)

Check out my face! What did Buddy or Ben say?
Then came the Sunday afternoon at Mindy’s place when we all combined to make a tasty lunch. And had a contest going on about who could collect the most pine needles in their plates while eating on the patio. And I made peach cobbler, my personal favorite. It will change your life.

And how can I forget that time I stuffed the whole cupcake in my mouth when we were celebrating Scott’s birthday after choir?

That’s it for now. Enjoy. Laugh.
And have a wonderful day!
