Isn’t it ironic?

Today I was trolling around Facebook (OK, trolling probably isn’t the best word to use because it makes me sound skeezy, but anyway) . . . I was on Facebook looking for teens to message and ask to check out the my magazine’s Web site and Facebook pages. To find teens, I was looking through friend lists of other teens I personally know who have joined our group and fan page and messaging them with a standard message. After I’d messaged about 20 some-odd people, a scary message came up that said: You are using this service to spam. If you continue to do so, your account could be terminated!

Let’s just say that I was shocked! It never ocurred to me that what I was doing was indeed spamming until the message popped up. Great, now I’m a spammer. . . .and I hate spam! (the mystery meat product and the e-mails) So, Facebook, your message has been received. It won’t happen again. I promise! 🙂
