Is it a do or a don’t?

I really don’t know.

See, readers, I’m a huge fan of the whole boots-with-a-dress look. Love it! Sometimes refer to it as the official outfit of fall. And today, when I plotted out my current outfit in my head. . . it seemed like a good idea.

Now that I’m at work, I fear that the official outfit of fall may have veered right into (to quote Ryan Adams’, sort of) Tina Toledo’s streetwalking blues.

Because the whole boots-with-a-dress outfit can go south really fast. You get the wrong dress, the wrong boots, the wrong heels. . . and well, you’re more trashy than trendy. And I just don’t know if the outfit works today, folks.
