If I had only known

. . . that Belmont head coach Rick Byrd was a member of my church, I would have been slightly less vocal about my love for Coach K and Duke. (Please don’t throw things!) Byrd, Crow. We should flock together, right?

. . . that sending my broken iPod (previous generation) back for a refurbished one with my BestBuy coverage plan would result in an iPod that doesn’t really work so well, I would have bought the iPod Nano that I really want instead.

. . . that I would regret not calling my Grandma Polly more, I would have made a point to call her every week.

. . . that the ladies who sit next to me in choir would think that I said I was going to the doctor to see if I was going to have a baby (when that’s NOT what I said), I wouldn’t have said anything about babies, pregnancy, or doctors.

. . . that I would end up depressed after watching the end of “Emma” on Masterpiece Theater last night, I wouldn’t have watched it. Even if Mr. Knightley was a dork.

. . . that I’d be wearing my choir robe (eww!) and not ever really getting to show anyone my cute dress and matching shoes at church yesterday, I would have just worn whatever.

. . . that I’d mangle my side bangs when I attempted to cut my own hair, I wouldn’t have cut them! Now I have to explain to Andrea (who cuts my hair) tomorrow when I go in why exactly my hair looks like this. (As a side note, any suggestions for hairstyles?)

. . . that drinking that cup of coffee at 8:30 p.m. after all the Diet Dr. Pepper would keep me awake and/or not let me sleep very deeply, I would have foregone the coffee last night. Even if it was delightful. At least then I would have avoided spilling it. Twice. On me.

. . . If I’d known today was a bank holiday in Canada, Great Britain, Northern Ireland, and New Zealand, I would have moved to one of those places. And worked at a bank!
