From the friendly skies

In case you’re wondering why there was no blog post this morning, the answer is simple: I was on a plane.

And now things get even more interesting: I’m on a plane RIGHT NOW!

Most of my team and I are headed to Sacramento for a magazine focus group and our first flight left Nashville at a little after 7 this morning. We landed in Dallas, had a snack and lunch, then boarded our next flight. We’ll be in California by 2 p.m. Pacific time (4 p.m. for you central time zoners).

We’re flying American and many of American’s planes are outfitted with Wi-Fi, hence how I’m able to update you on my life from the friendly skies. If I were smarter, I’d be sneaking in a nap because I didn’t sleep well last night, got up at 4:15 a.m., and may not be dragging back to the hotel until 10 p.m. tonight. It’s a long day.

But, so far, it’s been a good one. I’ll won’t be posting a cooking post tomorrow, so don’t get all upset! Sometimes bloggers have to travel!
