Friday Dispatches

So I’m really not in the zone this Friday and unable to focus on work. So I thought I’d give you guys a few hints on things to do, see, and think about! Here goes!

• I’m really, really, really in love with etsy. Seriously, go there and check it out. All handmade, some of it weird, but pretty cool, huh? I have something picked out for my mom for mother’s day already. And I’m pondering if I could actually make a little bit o’ dinero selling baked goods on there. What do you guys think?

• If you’re a fan of “The Office” and a little bit in love with Jim Halpert like me, go here and read about that tall drink of water, John Krasinski.

• I’m now an official adult: I have a life insurance policy. So if I kick it, my brother gets the money. Let’s hope I don’t kick it anytime soon.

• I’m going to play laser tag with friends from church tonight. I am NOT good at laser tag. I do expect to embrace my inner Sydney Bristow. Without the blue rubber dress, though.

• I’m still leading one of the bracket challenges at work! Yay! This weekend may hurt me, though. Oh, well. I’m happy Tennessee got beat! (I may live in the state, but UT is not my team. I did apparently really like the song “Rocky Top” as a child, but I didn’t know it was attached to UT until much later in life. Like college. Seriously.)
