Eww, that’s just gross

Earlier today, I had nothing to say. Now, I have a pet peeve to discuss with you all.

This morning I walked into the women’s restroom on my floor at work and saw a peach just sitting on a little table/countertop thing near the paper towels. Weird, I thought to myself. I can only surmise that one of my coworkers had stopped by the Juan Valdez room to pick up her snack, then stopped in the bathroom and left the peach sitting out there. On the table. With all the germs.

See, I know some of you do not share this pet peeve with me because we’ve talked about it, but I find it disgusting to take food and/or drinks into the bathroom. It’s just not sanitary. It’s just gross! Guys at work like to tell me stories of men placing their drinks on the top of urinal to continue drinking later. I’m not a germaphobe, but the bathroom is not really the place for food and drinks. It’s just not OK.

Another thing: if I ever happen to call you while you’re in the bathroom, please, please, please don’t answer it. You can call me back later. When you’re finished.
