Awhile ago, I wrote a review of the book Tess of the D’Urbervilles.
It’s a classic. On many lists of books you should read, though I think it’s read less here than in say, the UK.
Why do I say that? Because since posting that review, I’ve gotten several hits on it, most of them from the UK. But in the last week, I’ve noticed a slight rise in the searches for info on that book that lead to my blog and my review. I’m thinking that somewhere—like say, England—a lot of teens had an assignment to read and/or write about the novel. And being teens, they didn’t really read it and turned to the Internet.
I’m grateful for the hits, guys, but here’s a little advice: Do your own homework!
