Dispatches

I don’t really have a well-formed idea for a post, but just thought I’d let you know some of the things that are going through my head these days.

I am:

• confused that the pants I wore today button on the wrong side. These are women’s pants. They don’t even sell men’s clothing at the store I bought them at. So why do all my New York and Company pants button and zip on the wrong side? Has the men’s wear trend gone way too far?

• sure that I sometimes live in the episode of “the Office.” The main issue of today’s episode: what happens when all the sinks in the women’s bathroom suddenly all get clogged up? Tune in!

• unable to decide what I want for supper tonight. It needs to be something I can also bring for lunch tomorrow. . . . suggestions? recipes?

• overjoyed that so many people loved my last post. At least my embarrassment and discomfort brings laughter to the world! 🙂

• happy the weather finally decided it was fall. I love crisp mornings and turning the heat on for the first time. Now remind me of this when I’m complaining in January.

• wish I could figure out what is causing the huge puddle of water that appears in my back floorboard every time it rains. It’s no fun wondering if your car is going to mildew!
