So I’m back in Nashville, which I am happy about. I’m not happy about the being-back-at-work part of that equation.
I got to Nashville around 8 or 8:30 p.m. last night. And I went home, tried to unpack (but just a little) and went to bed. Because I was tired. And I’m still tired. Only today, I look it. It’s not a pretty sight, people!
In addition to writing my book on grocery store etiquette, I’ve decided that there needs to be one for airplane etiquette. You know, things like the unspoken rules of how you get off a plane, where you need to stand when you’re waiting for someone to get up and let you into your seat, if you should put the armrest down between you and a total stranger. (My answer to that last one is always, always, always yes. It’s a barrier against so many things: creepy, sweaty, handsy.) Also, hygiene is vitally important on planes. If you’re going to subject your seatmates to a smell for the whole trip, it better be a good one. Not BO. (And sorry anyone who thought I was the “smelly girl” yesterday. It’s hot in Florida and I spent most of the day outside at the Fear Factor Live stage doing the powerpoint for a Sunday service.)
All that said, I’m back in Nashville for a bit. And now, I really should get to work! 🙂
