All the little pieces

I think scrambled eggs should be considered a delicacy. Socks should have “character” if I’m going to wear them. I love Chuck Taylors and lying in front of the fireplace in my living room. I love Dr. Pepper in a big, icy cup from Sonic, but usually pick Diet Cherry Coke because it means I’m not getting calories from my drink. I’ll eat ice cream any time of year and love those Little Debbie brownies. I like natural light and sleep with the blinds open. If I had enough money, I’d buy as many outfits as I could from Ann Taylor. Candles make me happy. I like to be at home, but sometimes wish I were more outgoing. I hate packing and love traveling, even though airports make me a little antsy. I want to go to Ireland, Australia, and Spain. I wish my grandfather were still alive so I could talk to him as an adult. I want to drink cafe au lait in Paris. I cry sometimes when I wish that my Grandma Polly could have lived long enough to meet her great-grandson, Eli. I miss my parents sometimes. I think picnics are terribly romantic and if grades were given in flirting, I’d fail. I think shoes really do make the outfit. I hate washing dishes, would watch Almost Famous and Elizabethtown repeatedly—and have. I believe in perfect moments and am still in search of the perfect cup of coffee, though Bongo Java’s Mystic Brew comes pretty close. I’m not good at making sweet tea, taught myself to drink my coffee black, and sometimes drink milk with my dinner, like I’m still 7 years old. I cuff most of my pants since every pair I buy is too long. I used to kill every plant I bought, but now it’s down to every other one. I’ll be a St. Louis Cardinals fan until the day I die. I don’t understand a lot about football, but I like to watch it. I’m addicted to Forensic Files on TruTV, which used to be Court TV, but now has a stupider name. I hate to be cold, love the clothes of fall, and like suspenseful movies rather than horror movies. I think chocolate really does make you feel better. I’m loyal to a fault and prefer the mountains to the beach. (Just a few of the little pieces that make up me.)
