A Music City Marathon Addendum

I nearly forgot to write about one of my favorite moments of the marathon: the dude who ran by in shorts, an unbuttoned shirt, bare feet and carrying a Natural Light beer.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Initially, Mindy and I thought he was just some guy who somehow just joined in with the runners at some point, but someone told us that they had seen him at the starting line. Which just begs the question, why?

I mean really? I’m not sure beer is the best hydration tool, but at least the guy looked happy and very comfortable. 🙂
