A little game of tag!

I saw this on someone else’s face book and thought it seemed like fun!

The Rules: If you decide to play this game, this is what you do. First start off with 6 weird things about yourself. At the end of your entry, you need to choose 6 people to tag and list their names. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rules clearly. Don’t forget to leave a comment on the tagged person’s blog telling him/her to read your blog.

1. I have a “thing” about public restrooms. I refuse to take any sort of drink into any bathroom with me (except maybe oj at my house when I’m getting ready of the morning.) I also won’t use the end of toilet paper that the person before me touched. I know, weird.

2. I don’t read books from beginning to end. I read the beginning and read on for awhile. Then I read a few pages, maybe even a chapter later on in the book. I’ll take a gander at the last chapter. Then I go back to wherever I left off when I started reading it and start the cycle again.

3. I have texture issues with lots of foods. If it feels weird to me, I’m not going to eat it. I don’t eat grapes, watermelon, fresh (“raw”) blueberries, cherries, apples. . . pretty much any fruit. I also don’t like Jell-O.

4. I keep at least 2 different kinds (brands) of shampoo and conditioner in the shower at all times. I rarely use the same one 2 days in a row.

5. I didn’t start drinking coffee (and we’re talking “fancy” coffees: mochas, lattes, mostly espresso-based with lots of steamed milk) until AFTER college and grad school. On my 25th birthday, I decided I was “grown up” and bought myself a coffee. . .and threw most of it away. If I drink coffee straight, it involves lots of milk and sugar.

6. I can’t watch movies that involve some sort of injury/cruelty/death of an animal. I sobbed when I watched My Dog Skip and he died happily after a long life! When I saw the movie Signs, I covered my eyes and my ears when the “creatures” kill the dogs. And that all happens off-screen. You just hear it! The funny part: my brother knew what was coming, knew I wouldn’t like it, and told me to cover my ears!
