A day in the life

Sometimes a day feels like a year. Today was at least two days long. So here’s the story. In pictures.
I woke up. It wasn’t pretty. The coffee helped.
A shower and make-up helped me look somewhat presentable.
Then it was “Student Ministry Fun Day.” Bowling and skee ball. I was happy. Even if my team did not win the gift certificates to the Cheesecake Factory. We did get the rest of the day off, though, so that sort of made up for that.
And we’re off. Muffin and I hit the road to Missouri.
Kentucky. Enough said.
A Sonic stop in Paducah, Ky. Mmm. Banana fudge milk shake.
The Ohio River. Almost to Missouri. One more hour until I’m in the place I love, to quote the Gabe Dixon Band.
Missouri state line!
10 miles to Bernie. This 4-hour drive is almost over!
Mom and Dad’s. Funny how I love this place, but it’s not really my home anymore.
Good night all. Love, Scooby (pictured) and Mandy (not pictured)
