The Gospel of John
This year, we’re taking a simpler approach to our Lent Reading plan. Rather than a book or daily devotion, we’re simply going to read through the Gospel of John. Each week is organized around a theme and includes selected passages to focus on each day.
At the beginning of each week, we’ll post that week’s theme and selected readings, plus journal prompts or meditations. If you’d like to subscribe to a weekly email throughout the Lenten season that includes this and more, please sign up here.
If you’re like us, life feels like a lot right now. While we believe taking the time to focus on Christ and his sacrifice is a valuable part of preparing our hearts for Easter, we don’t want our 2023 Lenten Reading Plan to feel like an extra burden or more things to add to an already long to-do list. We want to make it easy for you to spend time in God’s Word, while also giving you the tools to make that time as beneficial as possible.
Please join us as we delve into the Gospel of John this Lent!
How It Works
Each Sunday, we'll post a reading plan that details what passages we'll be reading over the next week. Each day during Lent, we will also post a reminder of that day's selected reading and other resources, journal prompts or meditations.
